I cleared up 3.2 GB of space for this and it just wont download. Im getting really aggravated because I really wanted to play this game. Can some one help me? I didnt want to give this such a bad review but I had to, given the circumstances.

Doesnt work

Installed on my 3rd gen iPad. Game wont load. Goes to blank white screen and nothing happens. Uninstalled, reinstalled, and restarted my iPad. Still just get the white screen. I feel ripped off.

Please fix! App doesnt work!

I am highly upset at spending $5.99 for a game that doesnt even work! All I see is a blank white screen! Please fix or refund my money!!

Fun game

Very enjoyable game, doesnt take itself seriously. Puzzles are mostly easy, but still fun. Would love to play more games like this one.

Awesome Point and Click w/ Variety

This is my ideal adventure/point + click game! It is entertaining and both story and puzzles have lots of variety. Never gets repetitive like hidden obj/adventure games can.

Truly the next big thing!

I played this game on an iPhone 6+ This game, “Hollywood Monsters”, is actually a re-make/port of “The Next Big Thing” which was a sequel to the original “Hollywood Monsters”. But you don’t need to play the first game to understand and enjoy this game. This was an amazing 8-9 hour (possibly 10 or 11 depending on how much you milk it) experience full of vibrant settings, colorful and memorable characters, wonderful homages to classic horror films, and puzzles and logic games that were tough enough to get the mind thinking…but not too random or farfetched. to be totally illogical in context with the game. I especially loved the voice acting and dialogue which were smart, in character, and often humorous. It also pays to click on things multiple times as that often leads to new comments or even more detailed (and at times plot-expanding) dialogue. I also really loved how they incorporated the narrator as both a storyteller and hint giver. And as to hints, they are multi-layered…the first hint is clear and helpful, but doesn’t give much. Still stumped? The 2nd gives a little more detail. Not enough? The third (and usually last) gives even more detail…but you still have to figure it out yourself. All in all, I only used an internet walkthrough twice. Everything else I figured out on my own or used the in-game hint (and sometimes the hints are rather humorous and entertaining, too). Two things need to be mentioned though. First, a bug…it’s a minor one…in two instances, the voice actor/actress repeated words like a broken record (ex. “what?”). The game still progressed and the broken record effect would stop after a some seconds. The 2nd issue is a content thing…there is quite a fair amount of innuendo (nothing blatant, but still clear if you’re old enough)…so I would not give this to children.

Love it!

Fun game and great interface. Keep making more like this!

Really great

Enjoyed this a lot- funny and enjoyable.

A most play!!

I loved this game, I couldnt put it down!! It is unique and keeps your interest throughout!! It may seem long, but thats the best part!! I loved the ending, it is worth it!!!! YOU MUST PLAY THIS GAME!!

A little buggy, but otherwise classic Sierra

This reminded me big time of the Sierra adventure games of the 90s, complete with sometimes ridiculous and non-sensical puzzles (generally in a good way). I loved the in-game hint system; only once was the hint not enough, and I eventually stumbled on the answer through some lateral thinking (cough syntax cough). Ended up enjoying it enough I gave it to my dad as a gift. Lighthearted fun.
